Jewish Voice for "Peace" Supporting Terrorism Archive
Concrete sourced examples from Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) supporting terrorism pre and post 10/7.
I will admit that I am not ready to begin writing right now—this was supposed to have been written without the bar exam looming over my head, without which, I would have written my ideal first article. I always dreamed that my first piece of self-published writing would be my best yet—some groundbreaking essay that was checked, scrubbed, reviewed, and revised several times. Instead, my first piece will be a listicle containing information I’ve already tweeted about. But Alas, the dissemination of this information cannot wait. So, please bear with me.

Pre 10/7
Ramsea Odeh
Ramsea Odeh was convicted of planting the explosives used in the PFLP’s 1969 Jerusalem Supermarket Bombings, which killed two people and injured nine others. In 2017, JVP hosted Odeh at their bi-annual membership meeting in Chicago.
JVP has also praised her repeatedly —screenshots here.
Leila Khaled
Leila Khaled was convicted of two separate PFLP-led aircraft hijackings: flight TWA 840 from Rome to Tel Aviv and El Al flight 219 (part of the Dawson’s Field Hijackings). In 2020, JVP released a statement condemning Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube for canceling a virtual event featuring Khaled, JVP member Laura Whitehorn, and others. In their statement, JVP described Khaled as a “Palestinian resistance icon.” JVP has also repeatedly posted in support of Khaled.
Rodney Khazzam was four years old when he was on board El Al flight 219 and only recently spoke about the horrifying experience.
JVP’s campaign to release PFLP’s secretary general Ahmed Sa’adat.
Marwan Barghouti
Marwan Barghouti was convicted of orchestrating several terrorist attacks, the most notorious being the 2002 Seafood Market Attack, which killed three and injured 35. He was also convicted of planning two separate attacks: a car bombing and a shooting; the latter killed a Greek Monk. In 2017, JVP published a paid advertisement in the The Forward supporting Barghouti’s hunger strike. JVP has also repeatedly praised Barghouti on social media.
Nasser Abu Hamid aka Barghouti’s “right hand man”
Nasser Abu Hamid was photographed desecrating bodies during the Ramallah lynching. As Barghouti’s “right-hand man" he also facilitated many of the terror attacks listed above.
Ghassan Kanafani
As the spokesman of the PFLP, Ghassan Kanafani claimed responsibility during the terror group’s Lod Massacre, a shooting that killed 26 and injured 80. Days before the attack, Kanafani was pictured in his office with the shooters. He also helped recruit the shooters and provided them with instructions, documents, and money.
Gilboa Prison Escapees
On September 6th, 2021, six prisoners escaped from the Gilboa Prison. Among the six escapees, five were members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and one, Zakaria Zubeidi, was a former senior commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Taken together, the escapees were responsible for the following:
A series of suicide bombings during the second intifada.
2002 Beit She'an shooting attack (killed 6; injured 34).
November 2018 shooting attack on a bus outside Bet El settlement.
January 2019 shooting attack on a bus outside Bet El settlement.
Kidnapping and murder of 18-year-old Israeli Eliyahu Asheri.
